The Design Process
Site Evaluation:
Collect the required building details for septic size calculations according to Ontario Regulations.
Observe the existing landscaping, trees, underground utilities and access into the proposed excavation area.
Check topsoil depth and subsoil condition to assess soil permeability. Examine shallow groundwater levels if needed.
Watch for environmental factors such as wells, erosion, drains, ravines, and Conservation Authority limits.
Find property lines and obtain measurements of the area available for excavation.
Provide a cost estimate of the project.
Quote + Design:
With the data collected, we will promptly submit a formal quote for the entire project, ensuring transparency and clarity regarding costs. Once this quote is accepted, a design will be completed, along with all of the necessary paperwork required for obtaining the permit. For all septic system replacements, we take pride in handling all communication and payment processes directly with regulatory officials, allowing for a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.
Installations
Preliminary Crew Visit:
Before we begin our project, our dedicated crew will arrive on site to thoroughly observe the general scope of work and to identify any potential hazards that may be present. Additionally, we take the necessary steps to ensure that any essential work that needs to be completed prior to our commencement has been finalized, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
Excavation + Inspections:
For septic replacements, we pump the old tank, and no water can be used until the new tank is installed later that day. We make sure that water is available again on the first day once the new tank is in place. We schedule necessary inspections during the project and send the homeowner email confirmations for each one as it’s completed. Throughout the project we haul away debris as needed maintaining a clean work environment.
